The ambience was lively and great. Good for dogs and pets. Very good seating outside. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options. The vegetarian breakfast was filling and very fresh. The mushroom with hummus had a subtle flavors with the poached egg perfectly cooked. The servers were friendly.

Absolutely my favourite place in Bendigo! Will definitely be coming here every weekend, especially in the beautiful weather. Great coffee, great food and great service! Can’t really ask for anything more. It’s also dog friendly and the staff really go out of their way to make sure that the customers are enjoying themselves. Oh and the views? 10/10

We visited The Boardwalk back in May and ate here twice. We sat out the back on the decking overlooking the lake, in the sunshine and it was very pleasant. Food is excellent but what is *almost* better was the Adam Ant entrance; he is etched into the glass door. I’m an Adam fan from the early ’80s and the owner Andy and I found we had a mutual appreciation for those times. He brought me some books to look at while we waited for our food and we chatted about London in the late ’70s to early ’80s. Thanks for the hospitality and food. The waiter was incredibly friendly as well and can’t recommend highly enough. Go to Bendigo! It’s a secret Victorian gem!

From the cheerful welcome and the great coffee, adorned with a pretty swan, we knew we were in a great cafe. Choosing breakfast from the imaginative menu was difficult but we managed. The food was delicious and attractively presented. Would highly recommend this gorgeous cafe.

Coming from Melbourne we appreciated the view and atmosphere. We could’ve sat out on the deck all day. It was such a great place for a quality bite to eat, delicious drink and added bonus of a dog menu for our pup. I believe in paying for an experience when dining out and that’s what we got. The staff are wonderful! We left feeling completely satisfied and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you!

Absolute 5 star experience from the second we walked in the door! The staff were all happy, bubbly and beautifully mannered. It was my girlfriends birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel so special The food was incredible! We were all so full but also couldn’t stop eating. This has very quickly become our new favourite place and we will be back very soon!
