Cute cafe at Belgrave! Friendly and spacious. The hash brown egg bennies were delicious – very nice crunch, tasty Hollandaise sauce and generous amount of bacon bits. My husband had the curried cauliflower soup and toast – very large bowl to fill you up. The bondi chai with oat milk was rich and tasty.

Second best Sausage roll in my life and been waiting 10 years to find one near as good as the best I have had which is no longer available. So this will most likely be the best you have had. Greeted by a angel with a beautiful smile and great service. So happy to find a good sausage roll I can come back to. $5 with sauce.

What can I say. It was a tasteful burger which was worth the cost. This burger and cappuccino we’re not a disappointment. Great atmosphere and music.

Dropped in here after seeing the nice photos of food on Maps. Tried The Blacksmith Burger which was pretty good, however, the service is a bit of a fail on three counts. I was greeted with a blank look and had to initiate the conversation for the order. I sat outside after ordering at a different table after being told “someone has tabs on the table” I wanted to sit at. I ordered first. The burger was brought out and the young fella just said “Blacksmith” and I said yes and he put it on the table. No cutlery, only one sauce soaked napkin under the burger (see photo). I thought maybe I’m supposed to get cutlery inside but no, another couple had napkins and cutlery brought to them ahead of their food. I left the place sticky from the overly sauced burger and egg. It’s a good thing I had my own water and wipes in the car. I could forgive one element of poor service and usually do, but this one had a trifecta.

Need a pick-me up on the way to work? The Blacksmith. Need an escape from your home office? The Blacksmith. Need somewhere to contemplate your existence whilst mindlessly observing Belgrave main street? The Blacksmith.

Was here today for the first time for a late lunch. The coffee is perfecto and the eggnog croissant is to die for!!!! The pastry is perfect nice and crispy together with the eggnog was splendid, Seriously will go back for some more soon, and perhaps a few take away as well.
