5 people for dinner tonight. 3 had Steaks, 1 a Steak Sandwich and I had Lamb Cutlets. My compliments to the Chefs involved, as every meal was cooked to perfection. The service was also great and quite quick all around…….

My friend & I had dinner in the bistro. Our starter of Fiji prawns ($18) was quite pleasant. The main courses not pleasant. The steak ($40), ordered medium had well and truly been cremated, the Osso Buco ($29), which, on the menu said it came in an “Italian tomato sauce”, as it should be cooked, was drowned in a claggy sauce that I can only assume had been made with Maggi Beef Booster powder, no taste of tomato and very little flavour, the meat itself was at least tender. The staff were extremely pleasant & the bistro itself was busy with a nice feel to it.
