Went with group of 8. Set lunch menu was both beautiful and delicious. Followed up with a cheese course. Service was excellent, especially Millie. Lovely space with fireplace. 3 hours well-spent.

Had such a lovely lunch here. The paired drinks were also great. Loved the garden tour and learning about the different sustainable practices in place. Was my favourite meal in Tassie.

What a lovley experience, have done cooking classes many years ago at the old Agarian location . The meals were a wonderful part of the experience. I hoped Rodney’s passion for doing “real paddock to plate ” had not been lost in the restaurant. I was relieved to see this was still the case . The meal was a reminder that it’s very difficult to create a great meal without great ingredients

Enjoyed our lunch here recently but the food wasn’t as amazing as we had expected it to be. It is obvious that a lot of work goes into preparing the dishes and visually they are beautiful. But I thought the taste of the dishes wasn’t as good as some of the usual places I dine at. Overall the experience is lovely because the waiters are friendly and helpful, the building is beautiful and the range of crockery that the food is served on is different.

We went to the Agrarian Kitchen for a 50th birthday lunch and it was lovely. The setting is interesting, unexpected in many ways. It’s a decent drive from Hobart so recommend a care hire rather than an Uber as it would add significantly to your lunch budget. We did the degustation menu and it was delightful, the attention to detail was stunning and the way it was served was beautiful. Angasi oyster, Radish and Scotch egg were highlights for us and one of our friends who was a vegetarian was catered for exceptionally well. I also have to give a mention to the Pumpkin miso caramel (dessert) it is not to be missed.

Wow! This was quite an experience. The food was delicious, balanced and incorporated lots of yummy pickeled veggies. The best dish for us were the entree oysters and the lamb shoulder main. I look forward to the next experience at Agrarian Kitchen, top quality farm to kitchen feast and a beautiful atmosphere.
