Recently celebrated my birthday at Thai tide and absolutely love the food and warm friendly service. Our wait staff Fiat recommended some great dishes as it was our first time there. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and explain everything very clearly to us. I’ll definitely be back again. Love the tofu & crispy taro and the crispy sticky chicken.

@thaitide.au This spot is such a gem!! Love the moody vibes and it’s a great date or friends catch up spot with their modern fancy interior. Their thai cocktails are worth trying- and if you’re brave you should try the crunchy bamboo worms – they taste like chips loved every dish and the bold flavours. 100% coming back in the future. Everything was incredibly tasty!!!! ✨

I visited Thai Tide restaurant with my girlfriend last evening and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. I had heard a lot about this restaurant and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The regional Thai cuisine and dishes were a new and delightful experience altogether. Our personal favorite was the spiced caramelized crispy chicken, which was simply delicious. We also tried their Jungle green curry, which was a bit spicy but absolutely delicious.

This place was one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. It specialises in regional Thai cuisine so you won’t find any of the normal staples on its menu. Instead, you will have a selection of dishes that you’ve probably never heard of, packed with flavour and wonderfully prepared!

Thai Delights in Melbourne is a romantic gem offering exceptional Thai cuisine and attentive service. Their crispy bamboo worm and Omm ant Scott larvae soup are tantalizingly unique. A must-visit for a memorable date night or anyone seeking delicious Thai food in a charming atmosphere.

My experience at Thai Tide was okay with the place and service but a bit disappointing of how elevated the dishes with portion and price that I personally think it wasn’t worth it. I was disappointed to pay that price with not quite a full stomach. I get that they want to elevate and make it to be like Thai tapas.

Today’s Thai Tide is no same old, no Thai Tide of the past. In the year that it was away due to pandemic pressures, Thai Tide 2.0 had wiped its slate clean of old favourites. In their place: lesser known dishes from regional Thailand.

Delicious food, friendly service. Prices are on the high side ($22 for veg) but there are many elements within a dish. Limited lunch menu but most dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan. Nice ambience and the restaurant was very clean.

The beef cheek curry was not what I expected. I was hoping for tender, fall apart meat, cooked low and slow, but it consisted of sliced pieces of meat (not even sure it was beef cheek), that was too chewy and bland. The curry sauce was very nice though, but for what I paid ($40 for the curry and a small bowl of steamed rice) I expected much better. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the service is friendly and efficient.
