I have visited this restaurant several times with my parents. This is the first time I visited with my partner. We loved the interior and it goes very well with the traditional theme with wait staff uniforms, menu, table setup. Loved it! This is a very unique place. Food was amazing! There was no MSG added to food and tasted fresh, which is very difficult to find in an Asian restaurant these days! I noticed it is newly licensed so we took our wine bottle back, but their wine list was great, it catered for all and they are from well known wineries. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This is an amazing restaurant. First of all, the food is excellent. We love the specials guys! Very well priced considering this time. The bathrooms are very clean and plenty of parking. The deserts are good, in particular the mango sticky rice, and the entrees are amazing. Love the Golden Bags and Curry Puff! Thank you to all the amazing staff. You girls are very kind and helpful.

Very Very Disappointed. Tuesday rainy and cold night went out for anniversary dinner. We had our first dinner date here 3 years ago. Have since found out new owners which is apparent. Things have gone downhill big time. We were initially the only diners, two other tables came in after us. It was freezing in the restaurant. No exaggeration Absolutely freezing! The food was average and the sweet and sour pork was not presented as per picture in the menu on website. It was full of mushrooms which I don’t like and no mention of them in the dish. Waitress was friendly and pleasant but service was not great. No offer of desert menu and the food was very expensive. We reluctantly paid and swiftly left. Sadly will not be returning have been coming here for 16 years, should have gone to a three coins instead. Returned home to have a cuppa tea to warm up and enjoy the warmth of our home.

I have been visiting Thai Orchid for the last 20 years, being one of my local restaurants and always like to support local restaurants. Dined at Thai Orchid approx 7 months ago and felt was a little bit down on my previous visit. Decided to revisit a month ago. Noticeable changes to restaurant, food was exceptionally fresh and flavoursome and portion sizes were reasonable for a Thai Restaurant. Like that it not noisy and can get parking easily! They have a good monthly special which was great idea to take away. Glad I went back for a second try as enjoyed my dishes from previous visit months before. Nice to be able to have a local Thai restaurant with fresh produce on our doorstep.
