We arrived 45mins before our booking but were welcomed in regardless. It was evident the restaurant was busy with take away orders at the time we dined, and the owner let us know, but our food came out very quickly regardless, and was all pretty tasty and decent portions. There were two of us and we shared the chicken and cashew nut main, a small steamed rice and satay chicken skewers as an entree. Compliments on the satay sauce. There was plenty for us both and we took the left overs home. We also enjoyed a generous pour of moscato each.

It was my oversight not to make a booking initially, especially as all the Thai restaurants on the esplanade were fully booked. Our first choice was this restaurant, and upon arrival, the welcoming staff informed us of an hour’s wait. We decided to explore other dining options, but we quickly returned. Other nearby restaurants also had lengthy wait times, and the warm atmosphere and hospitality here made it a worthwhile choice. Their chilly prawn fried rice was exceptional(omg I’m still thinking about it!!), with a generous amount of prawns, and the fried rice itself was simply delicious. What set them apart was their honesty about wait times, unlike other nearby restaurants that were eager for our money but didn’t provide any estimate for our order’s arrival. Friendly staff and very accommodating.

What a disaster of an evening. First off we were directed , (not taken) to the wrong table…. What’s happened to customer service. Then we had 2 waitress’s try and take our orders at 2 separate times. Then I was given my meal with vegetables all through it, when the menu clearly made no mention of vegetables, let alone Capsicum which I am allergic too, and when I tried to send my meal back and told them if my allergies, they forced the meal on me, making me having to swap with one of my friends.

Worst Thai restaurant! We booked months in advance for a group of 12, and were initially impressed with the decor. However, the rest of the experience was so disappointing! The cocktails had no alcohol, despite the drinks costing $17 each. The food was mediocre and overly sweet with small portions. There was a clear lack of meat (chicken and seafood) and over servings of vegetables in most dishes. The servers were unhelpful and argued with us when we expressed concerns about the drinks. We definitely don’t recommend and won’t be returning.
