We ordered a delivery through DoorDash and it came so quickly we were super impressed!! Perhaps 15 minutes total from ordering to reaching our door. The food was warm on arrival and the meals were to a decent standard. The restaurant included the sauce which we requested in the notes section which is always a positive! My partner had the mixed meat halal snack pack and I had a child’s portion of nuggets and chips as wasn’t so hungry. The nuggets and chips were standard! Nothing to moan about really. The chicken salt used was also delicious.

The food at Taste of Istanbul is fresh, home made and flavoursome! We had 3 dips that were all delicious with beautiful soft pita bread, then the mixed shish with rice (yum) salad (yum) and once again soft yummy pita I would highly recommend this delightful authentic restaurant straight from Istanbul to Noosaville!

The food was next level amazing, we were seriously in food heaven. Beautiful and authentic! We ordered the eggplant dip, Turkish meatballs, lamb shish, köefta and grilled halloumi and everything was to die for! The Turkish delight is the best I’ve had. Service was brilliant and the owners were great fun! Cannot wait to come back!

We dined at Taste of Istanbul Friday night 21/7/23. The food was excellent as was the host. Really made feel welcome. Between 4, we shared a mixed mezze platter, chicken shish, vegetarian pide & another meat dish (we can’t remember the name. All the meals authentic & delicious. Definitely will enjoy more nights here.

This place is a disgrace for Turkish food. The owner is Turkish but has no idea about proper Turkish food. I am Turkish myself and was embarrassed when I brought my friends there. Kebabs were reheated, meat was tough and the spices were so overwhelming that you only taste spices. I am sure most of people who know what is real Turkish food, would agree with me. If you want good Turkish-quality food that is closet to Turkish standard do yourself a favour and go to Brisbane.

Omg! Just had the most incredible meal with my family at the newly opened restaurant Taste Of Istanbul . The owner is amazing, so generous and so wonderful. The food is to die for. I’ll be making this my weekly eats. I use to have to go to Brisbane to eat like this – now it’s a 10 minute drive instead 2 hours. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to eat there! Yummy!!!

This place is a hidden gem!! The food was amazing, the staff so friendly & knowledgeable, unfortunately one of the cookers were down so it was on limited menu but that didn’t stop us enjoying the feast, we had the cheese rolls as an entree which were hot & fresh something I’ve also never tried before. We had the Lamb Shish & a Chicken Shish, the meat was melt in your mouth & the flavour was intense! Incredibly fresh & prepared perfectly, the bread, dip & rice also equally delicious however the size of the salad or more a mountain of leaves was a little unnecessary but in all, this is probably the best turkish restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. We’ll definitely be back to try more of this authentic restaurant.
