Came due to recommendations and waited 40min to get a seat. They don’t do reservations, it is all per ticket/number. Service was efficient, quick, kind and friendly. They did however some orders mixed up, but they resolved that quickly. The owners are really nice and have a heart for the business. Good sushi but definitely on the expensive side. Do recommend, but we’ll definitely be trying others due to the price range of the sushi.

The queues are a big clue on how good the food here is. The best sashimi / sushi in Chatswood and possibly the north shore. Turnover is relatively quick and they have daily seafood specials based on what they can get at market. If you can get their Otoro and Chutoro when they secure a blue fin tuna or order their unagi don, you won’t be disappointed. They recently celebrated Spring with flower displays for the Matsuri Festival which was beautiful!

Great spot for a quick lunch. It’s no longer a sushi train. They now make to order. The food is quite good and the staff are always so attentive and polite.

Attentive, friendly service, great food. We tried a range of dishes but if I were to go back, I’d stick to the simple nigiris and sushi rolls. It’s quite expensive but you really pay for what you get which is quality fish and perfect sushi rice.

The quality of sushi definitely declined a bit after Covid. Still, the top tier friendly neighborhood sushi you could find with a reasonable price in Sydney. We waited about 40 mins starting form 6 pm. You’ll have to stand right outside the restaurant to wait for them to call your number. Once they called and your not there, good luck with getting a new number and restart queuing bc they will skip your number and ask the next customer to go in.

I had an outstanding dining experience at Kaido Sushi! The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making the meal even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to return and savor their delicious creations again. Highly recommended!
