Pretty average experience here. All the staff seemed to be flustered and fumbling around taking ages. My cooked chicken sat on the bench in an open sun for about 5 mins before I got to the salad selections. Lettuce was brown and looked old. The girl grossly under filled my sub. The whole place needs to lift its game from cleanliness, customer service and quality.

Ok here is my experience when I visited on the 27th of April 2023. All I have ever bought from Subway is the (club footlong) which no longer is on the menu, most of the experienced staff can remember this and every store I visit will improvise and make me one, replacing the turkey with another meat, no issues. No not Maryborough, the manager on the night shift said no we cannot do this which perplexed me, it was a simple request to ask for a little more of the other meat as a substitute! but still was not acceptable. I was prepared to leave it and move on but the part I found rude, and the manager actually served me at the till was she asked me, and I quote “are you satisfied with your purchase today.” I mean seriously. I’ll come back when I visit again and give the store the benefit of the doubt and hope that this one a one-off experience and I will get my Club next time.

The majority of employees stand around the back area talking to each other while customers pile up and leave 1 employee who is obviously the least experienced to make all the orders. This has happened multiple times when I have been in the store. They also are very skimpy on cheese, salads and sauces.

Incompetent staff. Waited too long to order. Once my sub was toasted, it sat there for ages while I was waiting to pay. Where was the Manager? Kids had no idea about the till. My sub went cold, I left because I was still waiting to pay. Not happy.

In my life, I have been to many subway restaurants around Australia. I feel it is my duty to let you at subway Maryborough know yours is one of the best I have been to. The girl who served me was very friendly, without being at all condescending (she had black hair). The food was also great. I am really liking the new range. It’s great to be able to try some new things. I was also impressed with the fast service, and how clean the store is.
