The Standpipe Restaurant offers a dual menu – Australian and Indian. I was keen to have the Indian menu. The staff are friendly and the service was prompt. They have a decent wine list. The food was good! The curries were delicious as were the samosas and naan breads. A good Port Augusta option.

I was excited to see American pork ribs on the menu. As an American, I looked forward to having them. We knew that it might be a large order, so my husband and I shared. I was saddened as the meat did not fall off the bone, the meat was tough. The flavour of the BBQ sauce was nice.
