This restaurant is booked out two weeks in advance at least. So how to get in? Luckily our AirBnB hosts were able to pull strings and we got in on Saturday night. The host and his floor assistant run an amazing service. They remained lovely, everything is possible, are very friendly, efficient and caring. Sooo good!

We liked the food so much that we had dinner here twice during our Mission Beach stay. Authentic and well executed Thai food. Real depth in flavor. Some of the best we have had outside of Thailand. We totally understand why this place is always fully booked. Very highly recommended indeed!

Nice food and atmosphere, efficient staff. My rating for this is in comparison to the other restaurants around the Mission Beach area. In Melbourne this place would get a solid 6.5-7/10. But in Mission Beach it is probably the best food you will get – certainly for asian.

Definitely one of the best meals you will find in Mission Beach! It isn’t that the area doesn’t have a plethora of good restaurants, it does, but Spicy Thai Hut in Wongaling really is a standout. Run by family Keith, Keith’s wife & chef Jackie and with the help of their young son William, it has been around for quite a few years now and it is easy to understand why. Great location with a large part of it outdoor but under cover, Jackie’s food is a celebration of everything wonderful in Thai cuisine, a literal bonanza of flavors and textures. The service is personable, welcoming and served with a generous dollop of humor. Prices are even very reasonable, including the wine and beer selections. Do yourself a flavor!

Our host recommended this place , and although it looks like someone house we were pleasantly surprised how inviting it was and to say nothing of the amazing food . It is the place to be , but book early .. you won’t be disappointed
