Normally a good go to place but haven’t particularly enjoyed our last few visits. Always get the Texian fries as you get chicken and chips and they normally give you a good serving, but the last few times the portions have shrunk at least half. Also, ordered onion rings and got 3 only. Really disappointing as they do make a good feed and awesome burgers can’t complain about those

When they first opened, it was incredible! We used to get it almost once a week. As time has gone on its slowly gotten worst and worst. Our usual has always been texan fries and got it again tonight after a long time of not going there. The texan fries box would be almost half of what it used to be and instead of the 4 tenders it started out with, you now get two. I wouldn’t mind the decrease in amount of food if the price had of stayed the same. But amount has decreased and price has increased.

Popped in for quick dinner and was more than satisfied. We had a Miami burger and kids meal. Chicken was fresh, tender and tasty and chips were good too. Yes a little more expensive than nearby fast food outlets but the servings are huge!! I’d prefer to pay a bit more to get something that actually looks like the picture with generous amounts of each ingredient. Only feedback would be to perhaps consider some smaller offerings too for smaller appetites.

The burgers are the best in Grafton in my opinion. Wide range of menu options and a nice looking shop front, good customer service. Would of been 5 stars if you sold gravy… can’t sell chips without gravy!!

Southern Fried Grillhouse was a place that we tried out during this pandemic to help support local businesses. Since trying their burgers, we have been back several times and enjoyed watching their range and their business grow. They produce fresh, hot chicken burgers that are full of flavour but are still so reasonably priced at the same time. Ever since trying them out, we have been recommending them to everyone we know and they in turn have been enjoying the burgers because they are that good. Ring ahead and chances are, the food will be ready to go by the time you get there.

Im the once bitten twice shy guy. Once was enough to never want to go back. And now reading how the owner gets defensive against negative reviews instead of taking them on board, saying thankyou with an apology, speaks big for how they percieve customer service. The customer is not always right. Not saying they are. But you need to take on board negative reviews as a tool to improve not a personal attack. The food I had was dry at at best a little less than average.
