Another review complaining about the same issues as already listed. Raw food, soggy and revolting. I also had missing items. When I rang the store to rectify, the man on the phone didn’t seem to care. All he said was “ok” and told me to go to the restaurant if I want my drinks. Seems like this is done on purpose……

This place was recommended to us, we repeatedly called to place an order on a Saturday night and the phone rang out each time. We decided to go there and found only one customer in the shop waiting for their food. We placed our order and asked the 2 young men why they’re not answering the phone to which they replied “we’re just too busy”. Our order was prepared and we left within 15mins, in that time one customer came in and placed an order. There were no other orders being prepared and the 2 guys running the place couldn’t have looked more disinterested. We eventually left with our order and found the food to be extremely sub standard. Needless to say we will never return.

$67 spent tonight this is the worst fish and chips I have ever eaten. Scallops had green in them and terribly battered and under cooked could still taste the un cooked batter. Flake the same. Un. Cooked batter so Oily and not properly battered steamed dim sums cold. I don’t mind paying for good food but this not only was a rip but terrible food.

The first time I had their fish and chips was great. But after, the second time we ordered seafoods, we waited hours and no orders came. And the owner didn’t even apologise. Tonight we ordered flakes and they gave us fish cakes. How you run your business. Never again.

Horrible service! Called up around 7:20-7:30pm on a Wednesday night to place an order for chips only and had the phone ring out multiple times. I was driving home from work so i popped my head in store at 7:50pm to place the order i was wanting. The young smug boy told me they stop taking phone orders after 7pm which is very silly and doesnt state it anywhere. He also told me that i couldn’t order my minimum chips as they were closed, mind you it wasnt 8pm yet and the door was wide open for me to come in with no closed sign up.

By far the worst fish and chip shop in Melbourne. The staff were rude and extremely unprofessional and had no idea how to cook fish and chips. Then to get home and discover they forgot the crab sticks that were meant to be included as part of the pack I ordered. Take my advice and save yourself the disappointment. Avoid this fish and chip shop! With so many competitors in the area I am shocked that they are still running.

This place has really gone downhill. Use to a great place. Now, never an adult in sight, run by teens. They have never been taught how to be polite. Their friends hang out at the store. The prices have sky rocked but the quality and quantity of food has reduced. Has been my go to fish and chip place for 15 years but I’ve been left disappointed to many times recently. I won’t be going back.
