Went for a friend’s birthday dinner with a fairly large number. Nothing was a trouble for the staff and service was quick. Meal prices were exceptional and the meals were of high quality. It was an affordable celebration, enjoyed by all of us.

Went here midday on a Monday and the lady serving the bar couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We ordered the chicken ceasar salad and it was right up there with the best I’ve had. Proper cooked chicken breast and plenty of it. Well done!

We ordered a chicken schnitzel and parmegian chicken with a drink. I thought the pineapple drink would be made fresh but it was poured out of a tetra pack onto a glass with loads of ice and it doesn’t justify the price. The bar/restaurant smelled of cigarette smoke, so we couldn’t sit inside even if we wanted to. Coming to the food, the fried layer was too crisp for our liking but the mushroom gravy was quite tasty. Good amount of chips and salads was a plus, and we couldn’t finish the meal. Good size kids play area on the outside just near the seating area.

Dam good pub food, brilliant prices highly recommend, was a little crowded but it’s a pub with great food on a Saturday night so not a real complaint would just select a different day if you like it quieter- well setup for kids !! Enjoy
