We had the bunny chow with beef curry, and it was delicious. The lady who served us was kind and made us feel welcome. She told us the best way to eat it and checked up on how we were going. The sides of yoghurt, pickled mango and homemade chutney elevated the dish and compliment the curry well. It was great to find something unique that I hadn’t eaten before in kalgoorlie. The only downside is there are only 2 tables, so there isn’t much room for dining in.

The shop caters for a lot of Kalgoorlie Boulder locals and especially South Africans. There is a large variety of products and I bought some traditional biltong/jerky. It was awesome and I can definitely recommend it to anyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The selection of food here is A-grade. Chicken curry is a must have! Customer service is top notch, prices are reasonable. South African Gourmet can’t be beat!
