My favorite place in Brisbane. Been here 5 times with my partner. Tried about 65% of the food menu, nothing will disappoint but will be wanting more. Very accommodating to lowfod map diets. It’s one of the best Japanese restaurants offering quality food at fair prices. Some places would charge double for what they do and not even taste this good. The atmosphere is not too serious which caters for all occasions and people. Last visit was 7pm Tuesday fully booked. Thank you Jeffrey as it’s always a experience.

This Japanese restaurant is a MUST try! The menu includes a wide range of food – such as tempura, wagyu and sushi. There was a bit of a wait to get in but that made up for the mouth watering and delicious food that was served. This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, pure divinity!

I am a regular at Shizen. Shizen is an underrated, fine-dining quality japanese restaurant. Try the nigiri and aburi and you will understand. The pricing is just too affordable for the quality you get. If you want to feel like you are in Japan, go here. This is a lovely little restaurant. The ambience and atmosphere is very understated and nice but still classy in it’s own way. Service is excellent but best of all the food is awesome. I mostly eat Tonkatsu when I go there and it is the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten Tonkatsu many times in Japan. Maybe only one place in Japan that I ate at equals it.
