I reckon the shortage of Keralite restaurants in North Eastern suburbs is what drives us and many others to reluctantly order from Sehion cafe despite repeated bad experiences. There is such an abject lack of consistency in the food quality that it almost feels like you’re playing Russian roulette with your taste buds.

It’s a small restaurant, nearly 6 persons can sit at a time. The business mainly focus on takeaway rather than dine in. You can taste mouth watering Indian foods at reasonable price. I ate porota and beef, the coconut pieces in the beef adds to its taste and porota was fluffy.

Taste of food has degraded to zero taste. It was once a great place to get authentic kerala cuisine but sadly not anymore. We ordered few foods, all food tasted below average and their beef fry and biriyanis were totally useless. Doesn’t recommend this place at all.

Ordered onam family meals. Extremely disappointed. Have been trying to call them since 11 am to get an indication of delivery times. No one cared to answer the phone. The items were delivered after 3.30 pm and was cold. The person who delivered it didn’t care to apologise for the delay instead asked if we paid for the meals. The meals were pathetic as well. Never knew cheap basmati rice would be served during onam.

Contrary to the reviews about how awful the Onam sadhya was in 2020, I think these guys really took up the negative criticism and absolutely gave it all to their Sadhya this year. It was unbelievably good. Good quantity, the food tasted authentic and more importantly it was fresh and warm. I would say, they killed the Onam Sadhya this year Thank you, we all enjoyed it!

No stars at all. We ordered onam sadya on 30th of August. Food was really bad and whole family ended up in diarrhea. One of the curries had a bad smell and we threw out that curry. They couldn’t even get at least one item to its authentic taste. Very disappointed.
