I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of chips at this joint! It seems that they are the only ones in the world who take the time to prepare fresh-cut chips, and their commitment to sourcing ingredients from local farmers in the area is commendable. In addition, the fish is notably fresh and perfectly cooked, with a delightful crunch on the exterior and tender flesh on the interior. I will undoubtedly be making a return visit in the future!

Just got takeaway from here for the first time since changing from Scorchz to Sebastopol takeaway. Dad is visiting from interstate & we were keen for fish n chips. Scorchz was always good and thought this should be much the same. Boy was I wrong and beyond disappointed. You have the nerve to charge $3 for a tiny pathetic & soggy pineapple fritter. Chips so overdone & dry we struggled to pick out some decent ones. Fish was average but at least edible. Thankfully your steak burgers were decent for my husbands sake. After spending over $40 on dinner I feel extremely ripped off and embarrassed that my Dad didn’t get a decent meal. With all the fish shops in town you would want to pick up your game. Because if you keep serving that rubbish you will put yourself out of business. Sadly you have put me off and I wont ever return. I’ll also be sure to tell others not to waste their time.

Best fish and chips we have had in so long. We got the pack for 4 and it was definitely great value for money, heaps of chips, yummy potato cakes , the fish was amazing as were the dim sims. We will definitely be back.

The team at Scorch’z are phenomenal. The chips and potato cakes are divine, and the fact that on Good Friday when they were swamped with customers they managed to get orders out the door incredibly quickly and at their high standard of food quality – I was surprised to have an order placed for pick up at 6pm, and left at 6:45 – which on good friday is a pretty fantastic effort.

Very disappointing for a fish and chips shop. Chips were below par, mostly fried starch and no potato but I understand the chip shortage. But the quality of the flake was close to embarrassing. After getting past the batter, it felt like I was biting rubber.

Superb food, they cater to most people, not going to say all as I’m unsure, however my daughter got the beef burger with the lot, can’t remember it’s proper name, without beetroot change tomato sauce to BBQ sauce, she loved it my daughter is only young and autistic and has loads of sensory issues, and it’s very hard to find something she will actually eat, been there twice, first time she ate 3/4 of the burger which is heaps for a 4 year old, partner had a chicken snitzel burger add bacon, tomato, raw onion, egg and pineapple, rarely eats carbohydrates, but would go back every week for this burger, especially if it’s added to the menu, as like chicken snitzel with the lot, also amazing prices, dim sims still currently $1 each don’t find that price at any where decent these days, great dim sims, minimum chips is a huge portion still like back in the day, haha between the 3 of us, we still have well over half left, I’m not really a chip person, but they were pretty good only thing I could fault is slight not enough BBQ sauce on the beef burger, (think it might of been the bun absorbed it a little bit but that’s fine, had I realised before I left again I’m sure they would of supplied a bit more, only mentioning the sauce in case you love lots of sauce however first time sauce was perfect, however my daughter ate it in the car rather than waiting til we got home, that could be the difference, also spot on customer service
