This is some of the best fish and chips I’ve had in my life and I’ve had fish and chips from all over Australia in my travels. The red emperor is to die for even with the slight price increase its still worth it. The chips are always perfectly cooked no matter the day I get them on. The calamari and prawns are a bit pricey but I understand that the business needs to make profit so it’s perfectly fine with me paying 50c extra for the delicious prawns and calamari. All burgers are delicious no matter which one I have. I also highly recommend the fish taco which is pretty much a fish wrap kinda but it’s a much lighter alternative to a burger but still has all the ingredients in your average fish burger. The home made sauces are all soooo delicious aswell. I don’t know why people are complaining that they have to pay for lemon? LEMON IS LEMON 20c FOR LEMON IS REASONABLE AND EVEN CHEAPER THAN SOME OTHER PLACES. I ALSO DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE HATING ON THE FISH AND CHIP SHOP LADY, SHE’S BEEN RUNNING THAT BUSY FOR YEARS AND IS STILL DOING AND EXCELLENT JOB. YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY THAT YOU ACTUALLY GET NICE PEOPLE SERVING YOU, UNLIKE AT MACCAS OR SOMETHING. Overall I love the friendly service and the excellent food overall it’s a 100000000 out of 10.

Absolutely loved this fish and chip shop. The battered red emperor was perfect, the crumbed fish was perfect, the squid was perfect, and, oh my goodness….. the pineapple fritter was to die for! I haven’t had fish and chips this good for a long time!! Thankyou!

We ordered two fish & chips packs takeaway. Swapped potato chips to sweet potato chips instead. Didn’t open food until we got home. Fish was a little overcooked. I literally counted the chips and came up to 15 small little pieces, looked like they scraped the barrel. Food quality/quantity were unsatisfactory for price we paid. My bad I didn’t take a photo. Will not be supporting this business again.

Had lunch from you today. Very happy with the quality of chips etc. The quantity is terrible. Especially when you are at lunchtime rush, so quiet now due to you charging 10% SURCHARGE. For what please explain. Normally on a Sunday you would do twice as much trade therefore paying for wages for the one staff member serving today. Sorry but what we got for lunch and paid an extra$2.20 is not warranted. No wonder it is very quiet there now. Will walk to svensons takeaway around the corner.
