We always go there for a fresh and well cooked meal. Take away or dine in, is our favourite. The location is awesome, the restaurant is clean and nicely organised. Good & fast service, with a good selection of wines. The business was always good but transformed over the past 10 years from a cozy fish’n chips shop to a big and modern restaurant with the price following the trend. But worth every penny.

My little girl and I headed to Redcliffe to frolic on the beach. We stopped in here for a bite to eat. I ordered cod and fish bites. The cod was juicy, succulent and yummy and the fish bites got the thumbs up from my little girl. The service was fast and friendly and the cafe style eating area was immaculate.

We ordered the fisherman platter and added two tempura prawns and a Greek salad.

This is where we eat, and for good reasons, too.

Felt like eating some old fashioned fish cocktails. Could not see them on the menu board so asked the service lady what a “fish bite” was. I was told it was like what I wanted but crumbed. I don’t eat crumbed fish so said I wouldn’t have it but was it posit for them to batter them. The service lady went into the kitchen, asked and was told yes.

A busy weekend and one till out of service didn’t deter the lineup out to the street. I wasn’t disappointed. The quality is better than most quick food shops and restaurants.. fresh and delicious.

My first visit to Seafood Town at Woody Point was a pleasant surprise. As someone who normally buys the fresh fish or fish & chips from another renowned purveyor of seafood at the other end of the Redcliffe Peninsula, I think I might be changing my mind. Seafood Town has a better choice of cooked fish than the other place (Red Emperor, Coral Trout and Sweetlip and Parrot Fish that you can’t find in most other place), their chips were better cooked (crisp chips are a standard), the service was friendly and preparation time short. I would call this a cafe style fish & chippy. All in all, the only reason I didn’t grant 5 stars is that the crumb was a tiny bit oily for my taste but my husband had no problem with it at all – trust me when I say I am fanatical about greasy food.

I took my son and elderly father here for some good old fish and chips – food excellent, staff super friendly and great spot overlooking the water! I accidentally dropped my tray smashing two meals and they couldn’t be any more lovely in dealing with us – I highly recommend- we will be back for sure! Thank you Seafood Town staff for being so lovely and kind. 5 stars all round!!!!!
