While the initial service was good there was little interaction beyond that and what you could see of the kitchen did not appetise. The food was just meh and we didn’t think the flavours worked well together. Redeeming features do include the dietary flexibility and surprisingly clean bathrooms. I think 3☆s suites it well.

Tonight we were left absolutely fuming! We ordered our meals through menulog at around 6pm and it didn’t arrive until over 2hrs later! The food we actually received was nice, not great but nice however we were missing our two year old daughters meal! This is not the first time we’ve either had an extraordinarily late delivery nor is it the first time we’ve had things missing. It’s such a shame because we love Schnitz food but it will definitely make us think twice before ordering again.

Very slow and taken more than mainly cause the restaurant thinks it’s a good idea to only start cooking the order when you get there and making the delivery driver wait and waste time because the restaurant isn’t coordinated enough. Had to cancel order as staff couldn’t communicate rough estimate of time. And I wasn’t pushy at all. I’m happy to wait as long as they say so but if they can’t answer me a simple estimate besides busy restaurant, I don’t see how that’s helping anyone, especially when delivery drivers are busy as well.

We are a regular customer of Schnitz Bendigo via Door Dash delivery as I am disabled and cannot drive. We have always been strong advocates of the quality of the food. Of late however, we have consistently had items missed from our orders. It is usually a serve of large chips associated with a schnitzel meal culminating tonight with a large chips and side salad of coleslaw missing. This has happened 3 weeks in a row now, always of a Saturday night. I have raised the issue via the Facebook page to no avail. I am not seeking compensation, simply hoping for the order fulfillment process to have some secondary checks in place. —-Very pleased to add that the shift manager (Meliza ??) called me after I left a message to apologise for the inconvenience and assured me that pricesses will be put in place to improve.

Here’s the backbreaking news, Schnitz outlets are better value by orders of magnitude than their abundant fast food rivals. Compare what you get at McSleeze or KFCeeze for the same spend and I’m petty sure that per-gram , per dollar spend, & per satisfaction, Schnitz, come up trumps. Beyond that, it they have a menu item that says “spicey” it is, as opposed to the rival brands who change nothing but the sauce an make the same claim.
