Authentic Thai food, clean and tidy restaurant, ate here twice. We were served by mother and daughter, the restaurant owners. They were both very friendly and respectful of their customers, lovely people. Will definitely eat here again when next in Singapore.

The same owner/managers with the same friendly hospitable service of delicious Thai cuisine are behind the new restaurant in a more modern premises. Photos of the owner’s river side homes in Thailand hang hang on the wall.

I used to work at this restaurant when they were at West Leederville. Rose and Han treated their staffs like family. They never ever yelled at me (chef is notorious at yelling at waitresses!). They would drive me back home when I work at nights (even when the bus stop was right in front of the restaurant), and would feed us dinner too! I am always forever grateful to these lovely human beings.

Lovely little Thai restaurant tucked away off Cambridge Street, cosy and welcoming. The owners on a quiet early in the week night make you feel as you’re visiting their home. Menu, though not overly big, is the standard Thai fare with some broader Asian dishes included, and all done well. Maybe that’s their secret, in providing fewer dishes well rather that a Wikipedia of Asian cuisine. We’re becoming regulars.

GREAT tasting food, friendly service and nice surroundings.This place is tucked away from the normal restaurant areas but well worth going off the beaten track for. We will be going again. 4 stars simply because 5 are reserved for the most incredible food with the most amazing service in the finest surroundings.

Poor quality food and dirty table cloths. The chicken used for the chicken satay was gelatinous and the noodles were unpleasant to eat. Not authentic Thai – I would not recommend.

The old Sawadee relocated from Subiaco still as good but don’t think people realise it’s now in West Leederville! Wonderful Thai foot and very reasonably priced.
