Saint Florian licensed cafe is a local treasure nestled in Castlemaine’s historic fire station. Owners Al and Jess Stanley have a shared love of seasonal produce, coffee, music, and art, in equal measure – evident in the cafe’s ambience. The north facing sunny aspect under the gorgeous plane trees, and the comfortable cosy interior provide the perfect setting for relaxed dining. Gorgeous cafe, lovely homemade food and good coffee- can’t fault it! The sourdough crumpets were a highlight. If it were open on the weekend we would definitely have come back again while we were in town!

We’ve eaten here twice and both times the food was tasteless and disappointing and the service extremely rude. If there’s less than an hour until closing time you’ll be greeted with grudging reluctance at best. Latte was ok, flat white was luke warm.

This isn’t Saint Florian, it’s the Depot cafe. There are tables outside that are reserved for Saint Florian, but I haven’t seen it???

Best brunch spot in Castlemaine. It’s only a shame that it isn’t open on weekends, which means with work during the week I can very rarely get here to enjoy it! Food is incredible and good coffee too. Welcoming and friendly team.
