Update: we still attend here regularly and it’s always a beautiful meal.. it has to be one of the best Chinese meals ever.. the lady in there is my favourite too, she’s so beautiful and happy all the time

While eating leftovers for lunch today from our Saturday night Chinese order, i thought it was high time to leave these guys a review. We’ve bought our Chinese from Golden Terrace for many years now. Some of our favourite dishes include: rainbow beef, Singapore noodles, fried chicken with peanut sauce (and no one else does this dish as good as them!), short soup, garlic chicken (garlic flavour amplified after a night in the fridge phwarrr!), mongolian beef, Peking steak, fried rice. We drive 20 minutes to and from their shop to collect, because no other Chinese place around us compares, in my opinion. They cook all our favourite dishes, exactly how we like them, the flavours are spot on for us. Other places we’ve tried will normally have one good dish, and we’re really disappointed with the rest of the order. Many don’t even have the fried chicken with peanut sauce. Never ever been disappointed by the food they’ve prepared for us. They are reasonably priced too, in comparison to others in nearby suburbs.

If I could put 0 I would! We loved this place and tonight the rice was absolutely Rancid, inedible! We rung and they wouldn’t give our money back and cooked it again for us, it was the exact same and they blamed it on a new cook ..

Waited 20 minutes and eventually had to ask if my order was ready. It had been sitting in their white esky for the last 10 minutes! Guy at counter took my name when I placed the order but didn’t call me when it was ready and I was sitting right outside! If I had not asked I bet it would still be in there. No apology and to top it off…worst honey chicken I’ve ever had. First and last time customer!

Amazing Chinese – best I’ve ever had (I really like Chinese and have tried a fair few different places). Full of flavour, and the special fried rice is full of meat. There are always lovely and kind staff there. Highly recommend. Have moved further away and will happily drive the 40 minutes just to have their Chinese 🙂
