The restaurant is a nicely decorated boutique place. The ground floor looks like a small pub, dinner is at upper floor with a great atmosphere. Leather chairs are comfortable that you could sit there for a whole day. As they don’t have many tables the waitresses are very attentive. The complimentary prawn starter and soup are well presented and tasted great. The chef came out to introduce the ocean trout entree himself. For the mains we had beef, veal and fish. We liked the beef the most but the other two are also good quality. Overall a very pleasant dining experience, would recommend to anyone.

Had the 6-course degustation menu and the paired wine package. You long forget the price when you see the quality of the dishes. Each one was cooked to perfection. The staff were absolutely amazing. It’s been so long since I have been so impressed, I think I had started believing this level of professionalism had gone.

What a lovely dining experience. If you like quiet dining, I recommend you book for an early dinner at 5.30pm, as it starts to fill up around 6.30pm. Ask for the window seats if you like a good view. Seating was comfortable, interior was warm and vintage, and the waitstaff were lovely – attentive, and friendly. Most importantly, the food was delicious. Light, tasty and plentiful. They constantly brought us little extras from the chef while we waited for our mains. It was just an overall pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely be returning.

A beautiful surprise visiting The Rusty Fig. Professional staff, accommodating, friendly and kind. I will come back for sure and start having the variety of meals available. I noticed a mesmerising Roaring Thunder Dragon close by… The terrace is lovely and cosy.

The welcome we received, the food and the service was terrific. In particular the warm and attentive service we received from Michelle was fabulous. The restaurant has lovely ambience and it’s also close to His Majesty’s Theatre, so is a great place to have dinner before a show. Thanks Rust Fig.

We chose the Degustation, unfortunately the seafood was not its strength.

The Rusty Fig is possibly Perth’s best kept secret. Just an outstanding establishment in every possible way. I hosted a business lunch for 3 there recently. We ordered off the lunch menu, the prices were surprisingly cheap – considering the upmarket nature of the establishment. The food was fresh, so tasty and portion size was good (we were 3 big guys – so we were happy about that). I found the service personalised, friendly and very helpful. Lastly – the setting is really upmarket, posh and you feel “fancy” eating there. I will most certainly be going back and plan to use this as my default for business lunches in the future. Well done the The Rusty Fig team and chef – thank you.

Went there for the first time for a milestone birthday celebration on Saturday night. Thoroughly enjoyed 4 course degustation served with great service and lovely touch to add to the birthday celebration. Generous serving size food was all tasty. The best steak I have ever had for a very long time. Soft lighting in the dining area set up in cosy but classy. Loved everything about the restaurant except the stairs to the dining area. Totally recommend! I will certainly be back myself
