We had a family get together to celebrate our youngest grandchild turning 6. Everything was great. I think it is family operated but the food is fabulous, service is like being looked after at home. Servings are generous and enjoyed the chicken curry with Jerramungup rice and cheese and garlic nan bread. So full after that feast. Saw plenty of people collecting take away but we all enjoyed being and eating in the restaurant.

Spent over $100 for takeaway for four of us. Part of the order included two large butter chickens. I’m more than happy to pay a decent amount for good food but when each serving only had six small portions of chicken my money has been wasted! We got plenty of sauce but minimal chicken. Stop being so stingy! A few extra pieces would hardly break the bank.

Royal Indian used to be my favourite in Toowoomba. Tonight I ordered a Lamb Vindaloo for $26 and discovered it didn’t come with rice like it used to. $26 is already expensive for something that might cost $5 at most to make and you probably saved 50c by omitting the rice. I hope that 50c was worth loosing a customer. You should probably fire your business manager. Short term gains = long term loss.

We ordered the Biriyani. I had the lamb and my partner had the chicken. We asked for the Biriyani to be spicy and for a change it was spicy. The lamb was full of flavor and so tender as to melt in my mouth. Very generous servings. The chicken Biriyani was just as flavorsome and again a very generous servings. Thank you very much, we will be back even though we live in Oakey.
