I must say the Seafood Surprise and Lamb Risotto, really did truly suprise us with how tasteful and plentiful it was. I highly recommend Ricks Place, due to the amazing food and amazing service from the team We loved the roof and will fo back to have dinner on the roof.

Went in for lunch on a Saturday. Immediately greeted very warmly by Rick (the owner). Meat and poultry are all halal certified. We were assured that the pasta sauces were free from wine too. Owner seems to have done his research on halal friendly standards. So that’s a definite plus. Food was absolutely great. Price was very reasonable too. Hard to find a great halal friendly Italian restaurant in Melbourne. So I’m glad we finally found it. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I walked in on this place on a Wednesday night. Despite there being no other customers inside Rick (the owner) welcomed us as if it was his own home. Our mains, Lamb shank and Surf n Turf, not only looked beautiful but were delicious. The wine selection is also great, matching the different dishes on the menu. We also shared the tumeric infused creme brulee which had a proper hard caramel top. At the end of our meal Rick took us up to the roof top which just had to be seen to be believed. It really is a special restaurant and like all the other reviews I highly recommend coming here anytime 🙂

Love going to Ricks Resturant, Very welcoming and warm. The food is delicious and refreshing drinks. Very nice design and space inside the resturant. It’s local and easy to get to in Kensington. Highly recommended trying this place out for a date night or family and friends dinner night.
