If you have ever been to this restaurant, or you would like to go, check your bill! This lady charged us penalty without telling me for left over some burnt meat. I have attached a photo, see how much we left, only bones and very small amount of burnt meat. Lucky I found out soon and went back asked her about the charge, then I took a photo of my table. She did give me a refund, but this still not right, how much money she has charged customers without telling them. This is a fraudulent. There wasn’t much food to eat anyway, not even some popular Korean side dishes, me and my son only took one plate of meat to cook. When we arrived, there wasn’t much food left, some plates were already empty, and were never refilled for us. The charcoal cooked plate was never replaced for us, and it was burnt, and the meat was so easy to get burnt. My suggestion to the owner is that if you want to save your business, do it the right way, even you don’t have many customer, still provide good quality food and customer service, because your customers will keep coming back. Don’t treat your customer like a one off deal. Me and my son have been to a Korean BBQ place in Auckland at least 20 times, there must be a reason why they are doing so well.

Sigh . . . please read this review before your next visit if you want to dine at Red and Green comfortably. My boyfriend and I went there and they had the audacity to charge us 50 cents for a freaking cup of ice. One cup each, mind you! I mean, are they kidding? And let me tell you, these cups were like tiny af. I swear they barely held any ice. Like, what’s the point? It’s not like they were doing us any favors. And get this, the ice cubes were barely half-filled! DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THE SIZE OF THE CUPS BECAUSE PRECISELY-COUNTED *there were 4 to 5 ice cubes* in each of our 10 CENTIMETRE MINI PLASTIC CUPS!!! Talk about a total rip-off :/ We used to go there all the time, thinking ice was free AS WE WERE ALWAYS SERVED WITH ICE WATER ANYWAYS (FREE FREE FREE), but nope, they decided to pull this money–leeching–bargaining trickery on us again. Ps… the male server gave us a whole jug of water with a third of the top layer filled with 20 ice cubes at the least. I’m seriously questioning their korean sanity and customer service skills. RED and Green , you better check yourselves because this kind of scam won’t fly with us. Save your pennies and skip this place, peeps. Trust me, you won’t miss out on anything but a lousy cup of overpriced ice. As a waitress myself, I’m known for asking if they ever need any korean side dish refills with the white crunchy salad alongside strips of kimchi too, serving water with ice whenever they wanted etc and making sure our standards at my Korean Restaurant are upheld to the highest level. Disappointing because despite that I earn minimum wage hourly, she would have the effort to click 3 extra buttons but not open her lying lips to tell us she was going to charge us. Absolutely disappointing.

Can only speak from my own experience, but personally I found the place to be wonderful. Many choices to select from, all of which tastes delicious. And nice, commutative staff. Had a great experience

Really worth for the buffet if your in the area! The food is great for an all you can eat Korean BBQ it’s not the best meat quality however there is an awesome range of it as well as some tasty sides and desert. I would recommend if you are new to Korean BBQ to look up how to do it as the service here is pretty non existent however this doesn’t matter if you know exactly what to do. There are a few things that could be improved, 1 the tables are a bit low when sitting on the chairs so it may be hard to get up, and 2 since the pot of charcoal for the grill is small the usable grill area is greatly reduced to just the centre of the grill plate which limits the amount of meat each person can cook. Overall this is great value if you can eat alot.

I keep making the mistake of giving this place another go. The food is not great and they hot food is almost non existing. I was there for over an hour and they put 6 pieces of chicken out and 2 spring rolls. No fried rice or chips appeared in all that time. Will never go back again. Terrible place

I went here twice in a month for meat buffet. The restaurant was not too busy and clean. Taking my experiences, the first visit was better than later. There were different kind of meat and side prepared and I would like the first. It doesn’t mean that second visit was worse, it was still quality. I like especially side dishes that were so tasty. Staff were very kind and helpful. Reasonable and yummy. I would like to recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Great meats! The Wagyu beef was our favourite…so good it doesn’t need any seasoning. There wasn’t anything we tried that we didn’t care for. Side options were good from baked pumpkin, rice, sweet potato and various salads. Desserts weren’t that impressive with a couple fruit options and carrot cake. We came for a groupon and wouldn’t mind coming again but probably not for full price.

Excellent All You Can Eat KBBQ. Would definitely come again. Meat selection is pretty decent but not as much other places, however the price still makes it worth it. Just be mindful of the 90 min time limit and $10 wastage fee per table and you’ll have a great time.
