Social Profile:

From 2 Michelin star kitchen to Brisbane… Restaurant Dan Arnold is the first restaurant of Dan and Amelie Arnold, a place where nature meets creativity… Guests are invited on a culinary journey of Australian flavours and techniques, respecting the traditions Dan learnt while perfecting his craft in France. Dishes are prepared from an open kitchen, creating a connection between chef and diner. Here, dishes are often created in the moment and the menu is ever changing. Influences range from the terroir, to the current season, with the ingredient dictating the technique to be used to prepare it. We offer only set menus: a 3 course and a degustation menu with 5 course.

Polished choice offering set menus with avant-garde, locally sourced meals paired with wine.

Great food! I was honestly amazed with the amount of food that we received. Every bite was filled with a different flavour and texture. It was amazing!

Amazing food, amazing service and amazing ambiance. We had the 5 course ($165) and it was so worth every dollar! Each course was very reasonably portioned. We were surprised with the number of amuse bouche that came with the 5 courses and they did not disappoint. The beef tartare was absolutely divine and the salmon on the cracker melted in my mouth. My favourite is definitely the fish – the skin was crispy but the meat was very delicate and soft. Each component of every dish was very well thought out and complemented each other very well. I’m not a dessert person and usually I would just take a bite just to taste but I finished the dessert – each component was not too sweet and it was just absolutely divine. I could tell the ingredients were very fresh. While the price may deter me from going everyday, I will most definitely come back.

Exceptional experience indeed. We only ordered the 3 course because we are not super starving. But they has prepared entrees, pre dessert and post dessert for us. Had an amazing time for a special occasion. Price is great for the value. Cannot say we enjoy every dish because it was a new and different kinds of food. but it was a new experience with dedication.

Have been wanting to try RDA for years. Such an excellent experience so much food and left very happy. The brownie with miso caramel was a highlight, so was the scallop dish. ❤️

By chance my daughter, who was unable to go, asked us if we wanted her booking. We knew nothing about the place other that it was a 5 start restaurant. We got there early , had a look at the menu and decided on the Carte Blanche $200 7-8 courses. Their top meal. Which means the chef makes all the decisions over the next 3 hours.

We had booked this reservation two months in advance with great anticipation, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The lamb was excessively oily, and the beef was undercooked, even though they failed to inquire about our preferred level of doneness. All the dishes were salty, and to make matters worse, they suggested we try the cheese without informing us of the price. There was an excessive amount of upselling, particularly with truffles and cheese. No recommended.

Easily one of my favourite place for some fine food. Loved the attention to detail and the presentation. They also have an extensive wine list that we really enjoyed. The service has always been too notch. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to spend quality time with loved ones.

Easily the best restaurant in Brisbane. The food was absolutely amazing. Like some other reviews, you do have a little bit of a wait between dishes, but you’re paying for the experience of a fine dining restaurant. It takes time to make a good dish great. And that’s exactly what they did with every dish we ate. 100% recommend this restaurant.
