Yeah not good. I’ve just moved to the area and was really hoping this would be a new fave. So disappointing. Chicken was very dry and smelled like ash. The chips were rubbery. Coleslaw was good and scallop potatoes were OK.

So very disappointed. I ordered 2 chicken and chips packs; one with a wing and gravy, one with a leg and gravy both with extra seasoning on chips.

Popped in for lunch. Was greeted and had good customer service. Ordered a chicken roll, but weirdly there was no meal option for it. So had to order chips and drink separate which added up to be quite expensive. Waited maybe 5-10 minutes as I saw them cooking the chips. Unfortunately, the chicken roll felt like they’d just put it in the microwave and zapped it then added some sauce on top. The chips were freshly cooked but still quite bland. Unfortunately it was not a good experience and will not be returning.

disgusting hsp, not enough salt, didnt offer cheese and when asked after payment went through said its a dollar extra. no chicken on hsp, ridiculous price too. garlic sauce is tzatziki, not traditional hsp garlic sauce. also not enough bbq sauce.

Had lamb suvolaki there today, really disappointed with the taste of Lamb suvolaki and very expensive too. On top of that the young bloke at the register didn’t gave a good customer service. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN.

I read the poor reviews from some people but I’ve never had a bad chook. Ive been lucky before to get one straight off the coals which was awesome but still, even from the bain mare they’ve never been dry or inedible. Looks like they only cook a smallish batch at a time so I can’t see how a chook would dry out unless it was a slow chook day ‍♂️

The chips are hit and miss, sometimes crispy, sometimes soggy but usually well seasoned.

The most dry charcoal chicken we’ve ever had. Bought enough for 5 serves; everyone had a couple of bites & the rest went in the bin. DISGUSTING meal for exorbitant price. Never again.

Best lamb souvlaki this side of Melbourne CBD! Haven’t found someone out in the east that uses 3 most vital points for a greek lamb souvlaki: 1, shoulder of the lamb, 2, horizontal axis spin, 3, charcoal fire started at 7am in the morning. Rus and Mary also convinced me to try their home made Tsatziki sauce – which for someone that does not like garlic – was quite pleasant. Will definitely be back!!
