I went to rashays for the first time last night, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, I got a fettuccine dish and it was awesome. I also got an amazing strawberry drink. Staff members were lovely and welcoming.

Really disappointed. We came to Rashays Darling Harbour several times, always satisfied and I gave them 5 stars reviews on Google. I don’t understand why Rashays Maitland is such the opposite. We ordered double beef asado short ribs which we always have when we went to Darling Harbour, over there you’ll get 4 pcs of short ribs but over here you only get 1.5 pcs, NOT EVEN 2. The taste was disappointing as well. My mashed potato was quite runny. Chips wasn’t yummy.

Total wastage of time and money. Staff has no ethics to give the menu on time . I have to sit for 20 mints but no one came to give me menu and at last I stood up and asked for the menu. Ordered a deal that was $18.95 but staff was unaware of its price and I have to pay the full prize at the end. Moreover, it didn’t happen with me the first time it happened last time too when they showed different and charged different. The service is also insanely bad , they always deliver the order one by one and not together. Wasted my money.

We were seated almost immediately which was great but then it took 25 minutes for someone to take our order and only after we grabbed a waitress as she finished taking the order of a table near us that was seated after us.

I couldn’t help notice that 2 couples that came after us were served first. Being a person of colour, these are the small details we pay attention to. Could have been a simple over sight but still. Otherwise the food was good and the girls were very polite.

Attended the East Maitland Restaurant this evening just after 7pm. It wasn’t overly busy. Was very disappointed, my partner received her meal first and was only about 2 mouthfuls away from finishing before receiving my meal. Others who came in after us were receiving their meals before me. My partner said her meal was average and very flavourless, my meal had a slight better flavour but have been feeling very queasy ever since eating it and it’s now almost two hours later .

I will be honest and say I had a coke spilled on me but I wasn’t bothered though, other then that the pasta made up for it. One of the BEST pasta dishes I’ve ever had. And the dessert was delicious. Coming back for my birthday!
