We are the newest restaurant in town that serves rare steak, fresh seafood and lots of local and native ingredient-infused food. Of course, we also have premium spirits and craft beers! Situated along 65 Victoria Street, our restaurant offers three areas for you and your mates. We have a high bar that offers an extensive selection of cocktails; open from 3 pm until late. The food was very good but the service was terrible. The server could not answer basic questions about sauces or drinks. Drinks took forever! The experience was overshadowed by the poor service. For the prices they charge, the staff should AT LEAST be capable of answering questions about the menu. Also, the brightest lights possible were shining on the tables, which made it feel more like a diner than a high-quality restaurant.

Sounds like they are definitely listening to feedback. We had zero issue with staff tonight. They were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. Of course it’s a steakhouse price. But worth it. Steaks cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. I think the atmosphere should be a little dimmer on the lighting with perhaps candle lights on the tables. I was amazed how many people in Mackay don’t dress up for the occasion. Nothing to do with the venue, but it degrades the place to think you can just bring shorts and a t-shirt. ♂️

The meat was done perfectly. The only thing that I did not like was that we were told we only have an hour and a half for dinner, which makes things feel a bit rushed. This with a $200 plus bill for two people.

We had a large birthday group in for dinner. Everyone in our group were very pleased with what they had ordered. I asked the staff for cocktails from the menu but requested if they could make them alcohol free for me, they did that with no fuss. I shared the hot/cold seafood platter, and for the price, it was worth every penny. The lobster cooked to perfection, the mussels were delicious and everything was fresh. It isn’t a restaurant I would visit often as it is quite expensive and out of our budget, but definitely could be a special occasion place for my little family. We had a wonderful evening here and I’d encourage others to give it a go.
