Ramen Danbo Surfers Paradise 4217

The original Ramen Danbo shop opened in the year 2000 in the town of Chikushino, located halfway between Hakata and Kurume in Fukuoka, located on the southern island of Kyushu, with a unique focus on quality and taste. After placing number one in a TV poll of top ramen shops, from humble beginnings, the single shop became a chain and expanded quickly throughout Kyushu, followed by the rest of Japan.

The ramen with soft boiled egg is delicious! The broth is not too salty which i loved ! You can also choose the firmness of your ramen which i was really impressed. Highly recommended!

Really great ramen. The broth is one of the best I’ve had and so flavourful. Decently priced for the quality you get too. Very busy but to be expected for an Easter holiday. I would definitely eat here again

We’ve now ordered delivery twice and have been super happy each time. The price is much fairer than the other Ramen places that offer delivery. The ramen itself is delicious and the way it’s packaged up to arrive fresh is fantastic. Honestly can’t fault it!

Reasonable price for ramen and the taste was good but it’s like a food court 🙂

Ramen Danbo is located directly next to Hilton hotel in surfer paradise. After reading some of promising reviews here on google we decided to give it a try. But as all ways, please don’t trust a review, you just need to try and judge for yourself. I was looking for a nice ramen and I can tell you honestly this place does not serve one. For $18 and a small bowl does not work for me as I’m a fairly big eater, even though you can add extra noodle, I shouldn’t need to if the bowl was big enough in the first place. Also they should remove the 3 step customisation to your ramen so that the noodle and flavour is consistent for everyone. The rice balls x2 for $4.5 is actually a good deal, but it’s just plain rice with no flavour. They should add some meat or other ingredients to enhance the flavours. There’s not much on the menu that I can honest say was good from first impression.

Very expensive Ramen place and the taste is very very average, later found another Remen further down the street which tastes a lot better and cheaper too. The staff there are very slow, had to wait 10mins to order and there are only 4 people in the queue. The portion is very small too had to pay $1.8 for extra noodle for everyone in the family including my 6years old.
