This restaurant is a close match to Indian restaurants at Wentworthville NSW. Authentic tasting Indian dishes at reasonable price. Just don’t expect for any presentation and ambience. Staff could do some smile, all ladies look tired and bit grumpy. We came on a Friday almost 9pm.

Literally devoured this meal within ten minutes. I’ve been staying across the road at the hotel and walked past this restaurant many times, not thinking much of it, but tonight there was easily about 30 people queuing up for takeaway dinner, which told me that they must be doing something right! So I joined the queue, within ten minutes I had ordered and ten minutes after id eaten it all up.

Raj’s has always been my go to place for Indian food ever since I moved to Newcastle. The food is authentic indian as it can be. They have a wide variety of curries and snacks. The food is fairly priced. The staff is very polite and professional.

The staff members displayed a concerning level of arrogance and could benefit from improving their customer service skills. During my recent visit, I ordered items worth $55.20. However, I encountered an issue where one staff member provided only a partial order in a bag, while another staff member handed me the remaining food and instructed me to transfer it into the provided bag. This situation was particularly inconvenient as I was accompanied by children and had been patiently waiting for my complete order.
