The service is attentive at the right level, and the atmosphere is cool and modern. The outside courtyard in the middle of Kingscross is a plus. Most importantly, the food is Indian it’s fresh, vibrant and pack full of flavours. The proportions are generous and value for money.

Fantabulous dinner. Every dish was a perfect blend of cosmopolitan Indian with a bit of char. Great atmosphere, beautiful crockery and gorgeous service.

Great addition to the Sydney modern Indian food scene! Loved the decor, food was yummy and the service was good. We felt the staff (in particular Katrina our waitress) were well informed on the ingredients, flavours and recommended dishes well – highly recommend trying it out!

the Khatta Meetha Sydney Rock Oysters had a spiced Davidson plum chutney and punchy dressing that started this lunch off with a bang. i loved the Albacore Toast, fresh tuna sashimi dressed with gunpowder (yes, gunpowder!) and lemon myrtle. citrussy and refreshing, this was a delight. i also really enjoyed the Stracciatella Kachori, another punchy mouthful. the Scallops served with a spicy and tangy ambok tik sauce from Goa was another tasty bite but not my favourite, would pick the others instead!

We’ve been to Ezra a few times and really wanted to try their sister restaurant next door… and we weren’t disappointed! It’s a very cute restaurant with a lovely outdoor terrace. Like Ezra, the food is delicious. An amazing modern twist on Indian food. We loved the tartare and dosas. We will be back!

Wow! The most amazing food experience in Sydney. Raja is a must-visit, whether or not you like Indian. The bone marrow dosa, masala clams, and the mud crab were genuis. We enjoyed thoroughly. Special thanks to our wonderful waitress Francesca for taking great care of us.

Very cool ambience, great service and banquet options. We had the vegetarian banquet and enjoyed the stracciatella kachori, mushrooms, baigan bharta with poppadums, chilli corn ribs, buffalo mozzarella in a makhani gravy, black daal and rice. They had some unique cocktails including Raja Cutter and seasonal fizz. Note street parking can be limited. We parked at the kings cross city car park around the corner for $15 evening rate.

Amazing food and service. 4 stars overall and not 5 because we all felt the portion sizes could have been bigger, e.g. the Laal Maas and Murray Cod. Also a small issue with the Masala clams – very nice but not cleaned properly so there was grit in the dish. Overall very good and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Food was good but I felt like it was overpriced for what they were serving. It’s definitely not a place you can come regularly at that price. The starters at $9 a piece was bite size and the dessert for $21 where it was barely enough to share was disappointing.
