Amazing food, definitely the best local Mexican restaurant in Darwin. I thoroughly enjoyed the Bean Burrito – veganised by just removing the sour cream and cheese. It was delicious! It would be nice to have an option of vegan cheese, but I still thought it was awesome.

Has a good feel to it when you walk in. Waitress was friendly but forgot several requests. As always the only thing thats not available that day is what we try to order! Happens where ever we go. The chicken nachos were sensational. The fajitas on the otherhand were a different story, so salty and the meat was dried up and crusty. My cheese had mould in it, when I mentioned it it was very swiftly replaced. Pina Colada was cool and refreshing.

Went here for my birthday meal and the food was incredible! We had the trio of dips and jalapeno cheese balls to start. Both were really tasty. Then two of us got the burrito del mar, I think it’s the best burrito I’ve ever had. Another got beef tacos which she really enjoyed. The portion sizes were generous and the service was really friendly. The place has a great vibe. Worth a visit!

Not a huge Mexican cuisine fan but I really enjoyed visiting here,cool decor and atmosphere,the Burrito Del Mar was excellent as was the Coconut Margarita,beers were cold and the service was friendly,will be looking forward to the next visit

Hadn’t been there in years, but it was absolutely brilliant. Staff were fantastic and lovely. Food was really worth the trek from the rual area. Have already told a bunch of friends to go there. Well done Prickles, you were great 14 years ago and still are.

Great restaurant with great staff and owner. The restaurant has a lot of history and a relaxing positive vibe. The food is great but not fantastic but way better then hot tamales. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Diane was a great host
