Food – it was awesome food, I had spring rolls and green curry. green curry was the best one that I never had in my life. It was just enough spicy and creamy sauce and spring roll was very crispy and inside was very soft and juicy.

Tried Pinto the other night. Friendly and welcoming staff. Authentic Thai food. Duck red curry was one of the best we had – spiciness was just right, duck was tender and authentic fresh tang. Also had pork belly, it was moist and tender and flavor soaked thru. The mustard green was well prepared and went well with the pork.

Definitely recommend giving these guys a if you’re looking for something to eat in Claire. Found some standards done really nicely, but also a few specific dishes that I recognise from some local areas of Thailand. Nice family atmosphere, with friendly service, Food was really top notch. (Make sure to tell them if you dont want it too spicy, they can do either). Great people, great time, great food, reasonable price. Thanks for a great meal Pinto Claire 🙂

The best Thai food in the Clare valley!!! Have tried nearly everything on the menu, can say with confidence the food is amazing. Excellent customer service very friendly. Should definitely visit if your around in the Clare valley.

I don’t normally review but felt that this experience was so poor that I am obligated to warn other customers about our terrible experience at this venue. 90minute wait for food when there was no other customer at the restaurant. Brought our order for rice out 20minutes before the curries. By this time we were so hungry we were eating plain rice. When curries arrived, I requested that they heat up our rice in the microwave. They took the rice away and did not bring it back for 10min (to reheat in the microwave). By this time we were starving and ate curry on its own. When asked for our rice the service staff made no apologies other than saying that is what the kitchen is doing and she cannot do anything about it. Stay clear away from this place. Left a very negative experience of an otherwise amazing Clare holiday.

Fantastic restaurant, authentic Thai food, that is reminiscent of my many trips to Thailand, great to see the dishes have NOT been Westernised. If you don’t like spicy food, I would suggest to the person who said the food was far to spicy. You need to order from an appropriate outlet, not Thai, as the food is complex full of various wonderful flavours and spices. Having been in the hospitality and food industry all my working life. I think the food I had last night, to be up there with some of the best Thai food that I have eaten. One other point a good selection of wine by the glass at the bar, reasonably priced. All in all, a great experience.

The staff were friendly and dining area looks neat and welcoming. We shared sesame chicken wings, Pad Thai, pork belly, and special fried rice. All delicious, pork fell apart nicely, pad Thai wasn’t spicy but came with chilli flakes and one of the best I’ve eaten. Fried rice had a lovely warmth to it and not a shrivelled up pea anywhere to be found. Definitely recommend!
