Amazing little cafe and pizzeria. Great coffee and delicious cakes. Very hard to ignore the amazing cakes on offer and just get a coffee. Very friendly staff and nice local atmosphere. Wood fire pizza is a hit too! 10/10

I turned 50 recently and ordered a continental cake from Pier. I could not have been happier! It was delicious and moist with a hint of alcohol. It had a custardy feel to it that I love. It was such a hit. I highly recommend Pier’s cakes for any special (as well as non-special) days.

First time last night, sat outside near the band which was very good, made a great atmosphere. If you don’t eat pork products you are limited to the seafood or vegetarian pizzas or pasta’s. We went for pizza as was told they are the best in Eltham, and the seafood pizza didn’t disappoint, great flavours and cooked to perfection. The night was busy and by the looks lots of regulars. The bad: after 15 minutes had to go ask for bottle of water, waiter walked out with a bottle, then walked past us to the table behind us and gave it to them, they had just arrived… he then went back and we got ours…. Entree came out, very nice, then we waited for this to be cleared, after 20 minutes it was, then we waited for the pizza, more than 40 minutes later it came out, service was atrocious. Next time I’ll just order takeaway.
