Very wonderful place to visit. Didn’t eat here but visit the bakery in the back, it’s kept the old oven and very old school and lovely. There is a guy explaining some story behind the store, which is awesome and nice, sweet. Would be back to try the food for sure. Wait for me

Food was delicious and came out very quickly, most of the food came with salad and relish and were all large portions. The walnut brownie was massive and was very rich. The food was delicious and very filling as well as a great atmosphere

What a lovely find! My partner and I were out exploring Loch and found this gem – lovely owner and staff, food was delicious and if you’re lucky, occasionally they bring out some filtered coffee to try (I don’t usually have filtered coffee and it hit all the right spots). We were taken through the history of the bakery and cafe by the owner and it was such a lovely insight to the origins of the place. A piece of pioneer history in the Gippsland region – you must visit at least once!

Stopped by for brunch whilst travelling through. Loch is a lovely little village and Olive’s was great. I had the sweet potato stack which was very tasty (loved the relish that came with it), and a huge pot of tea which they offered to top up if needed. The shop has many unique things for sale and the back room where we sat was full of books to pursue if you so choose.

Such a lovely little spot in Loch, and on a beautiful day like today, eating or having a coffee outside, this cute cafe is the best! The food was excellent. I had the breakfast roll and a mug of coffee. I couldn’t get enough of the coffee, which almost had an aromatic flavor. So I had to get another with one of their lovely blackberry jam donuts, so good

Lovely cosy spot for lunch on the way back to Melbourne from Venus Bay. Good selection of toasted sandwiches and baked goods.

One of the best Cafes I’ve been. It has a cosy country atmosphere and decor is outstanding and unique. Come in on a rainy day and relax away with the music a coffee and a Reuben sandwich. Make this a compulsory stop on your trips to Wilson’s prom.

We were influenced to visit this cafe by its nice exterior and its vegan offerings but were shocked by what we got. Nothing was sustainable or eco-friendly – our salad came in a plastic cup, the same as the meal in a takeaway container. Both salads were taken back because the one in the plastic container was not only starting to go bad, but also had begun to rot.The worst of all is that we sat down in a cafe to avoid take away packaging and then we get served take away packaging . Still to mention that the service was friendly but inattentive.

The travel guide said we should stop at the town of Loch for their range of antique shops and cafes. Only one shop and two cafes were open on a Monday. We decided to try this quirky looking cafe. May have done better across the street. Ordered from their specials board a sandwich of turkey, brie and cranberry sauce to SHARE, as well as a pot of tea to SHARE. Took our seats and the counter lad came out and told us they don’t have any turkey. So why is it on the specials board? Got him to replace the turkey with chicken, which was tasty. They didn’t understand the concept of sharing – I had to ask for a 2nd plate to share our sandwich, then a 2nd set of cutlery, then a 2nd tea cup, then a 2nd saucer … sigh.
