It’s a very nice cafe with very good food. It has an old rustic look. The place has pretty decent indoor seating, with some seating available in the verandah are as well as some outside. It was raining when we went there so we had to sit inside, but i went and checked the outdoor seating in the garden like area. The Mediterranean and the pepperoni toasties were yummy, and the coffee was pretty good. The Orange Polenta cake was amazing. We just loved it. The cafe lady was very friendly and helpful.

Finally, I got to have an afternoon tea at this wonderful tearooms and boy was the coffee ☕️ good n the cheese cake amazing. It’s like going back in time to my childhood. Friendly staff. Very clean place and good variety of food. Lots of seating inside and out. Worth a visit.

Stopped for breakfast, you know what else stopped? My circulatory system function. Had the breakfast burger, was painted in what I’d believe to be at least a whole a stick of butter; forgot the hash browns which was the main side to the roll. Hot chocolate was not too bad. Two stars only for the hot choccie.

We’ve stopped here a number of times in recent years. The cafe is set opposite a relaxing waterside park where people come to spend their leisuretime, meet family and picnic while the children play in the playground. We loved the cafe when the previous owners were there. They were very welcoming and the coffee and food was consistently very good, including for restricted diets. Unfortunately our last two stops have been quite the opposite. The staff presented as disinterested and I’d go as far as to say annoyed, and this was reported by multiple people we were with on our last stop, plus the consistency of the coffee they serve varies enormously. They still cater for restricted diets which is terrific and the cakes we had were lovely. With an injection of love in personal manner and coffee making skill, in the beautiful position it is in, this business could return to being one of choice rather than necessity, could provide both its owners and staff much satisfaction, and it’s customers a pleasant welcoming experience to enhance their day and keep them coming back. We hope this feedback is accepted with the perspective of continuous improvement and look forward to the opportunity to write a more positive review in the future.

Very disappointing to be honest. Nothing special. Average coffee and not so good food. Limited options and uninterested/unhelpful staff. Don’t waste your time/money here. Stay at home or choose another cafe that cares enough about their service and customer experience.

Great beachy feel with some unique culinary tastes. Their chutney is an absolute delight on the burger. Staff are courteous and cheerful. We enjoyed our lunches.

Sadly planned to have a coffee and a bite to eat. Unfortunately all tables reserved and no other option to sit. Time was 12:45, others had been turned away when looking for a table. Maybe the small annex off to the side could be utilised. Hope your reserved tables showed up. Lost opportunity.

The staff are friendly and it’s a nice place to have coffee and cake but they could be more proactive with service. That does not stop me from coming back here as staff seem to be warm and welcoming. Pet friendly place.

Seated outdoors, chairs well weathered but had plenty of shade.
