We went there on a rainy Good Friday afternoon. Bossman (we assume) greeted us with a big smile, his mannerisms warmed us up before his food did. They had a smaller menu for the Easter weekend. The food were simple and were served hot but we were hoping for a little more flair and umami in their dishes. We hope to shout oiishi the next time we visit.

Very friendly waiter but disappointing food. Okonomiyaki was soggy and smothered in mayo, seemed like reheated in microwave, definitely not freshly cooked. Gyudon seemed like beef boiled in soup and poured onto rice, made rice very watery, was expecting stir fried beef. Price on higher side.

Wow! The food here was so tantalising that I forgot to get a photo before I started eating it. Incredible umami flavors and great portion sizing. The team here at Oishii on wheels really put a lot of effort into making this a great place to be and it shows. With a specials board that has different things to take you out of your comfort zone, I wish it was open back when I was in highschool as its right across the street from bendigo senior in Rosiland park.
