Great steaks and lovely staff at very reasonable prices. The service was a little slow this time (our second visit in the past month) but that was understandable on a Friday night in school holidays. We’ll definitely be back and recommend this place for a great casual meal

Best porterhouse steak I have ever had. Thick cut. Delicious flavour ‘au natural’. Perfect baked veges (pumpkin, beetroot, sweet potato, beans, corn cob) and creamy mash. Great service.

I often drive to Sydney for work and was recommended to stop at Nowra Steakhouse for a meal. The recommendation paid off, staff friendly and attentive and food worth every dollar. had the best curry in NSW so far.

Arrived around 6pm and noticed the “under new management” sign, new management have been around for 2 months. The waiter was nice to greet us as expected. As we decide on our dinner, another waiter provided us a complementary dish. Unsure what it was, before and after we ate it but it was a nice gesture. As I flip through the menu, I noticed it was not a steakhouse. There was so much things on the menu, I can relate this place as a bistro, or “club food”. As someone from Sydney, I can assure you, this is not a steakhouse. Also, the original waiter did not know what soup of the day was, we were there early, maybe it was not yet ready.

Awful. Order of medium-rare porterhouse came back north of well done and totally devoid of any discernible taste. Served with obviously canned and gloopy sauce. Service was virtually non-existent, and they just didn’t bother to take our dessert order so we left early. Terrible selection of beer to round off a miserable experience.

All the reviews here are old, but the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff is unchanged, recommend the steaks, just melt in the mouth and the home cut chips are the best I’ve had for years!! Excellent find.

We went out for dinner Friday night. One meal of barramundi was off, and had to be sent back. Another ordered soup and entree both brought out at same time entree was cold. Staff were great. But food terrible. Won’t be going back.

Had the Plowmans for lunch. $18 for a damper, 1 thin sliced processed ham (not real leg ham), 2 thick slices of what looked like no frills cheese, a small egg, 3 little tomatoes. The $18 price isnt the issue, its the lack of value for that price. Try using real ham surely another $1 wont break you, whats an egg cost? when they are that small try putting 2 on the platter. Another cheap upgrade to improve the dish would be small pickled onions or sun dried tomatoes.

Omg had lovely three course meal, celebrated my friends 60th birthday. desert was awesome owners Rocky and Mav were fantastic. Even come out to shake my friends hand on her birthday.
