Operating for more than 60 years, Noosaville Fish Market is the place to go for an extensive range of fresh local and imported seafood. We provide raw and cooked seafood to locals and tourists alike. Our cooked-to-order fish and chips is a Sunshine Coast favourite. We also offer a range of wines, beers, and pre-mixed spirits. Everything we serve is homemade: from our Thai fish cakes and marinated prawn cutlets to salads and kids-sized meals. We don’t use pre-battered or crumbed seafood products. Our local chef has over 30 years’ experience in the local hospitality industry, mostly dealing with seafood. We ordered 7 pieces of snapper – 2 grilled ($15 each) and 5 battered. Although nice and fresh, the grilled was super tiny – not much bigger than my car keys. Each piece of battered has a different texture and flavour – it definitely seemed like different fish. The large chips were amazing – fresh and crispy. Calamari was average. It was disappointing that 7 pieces of fish did not satisfy 5 people who are not big eaters. Service was prompt and friendly.

Well priced, can tell they used good quality oil. Chips were fried to perfection, a bit too much batter on the fish but the quality of the food was most definitely better than the standard fish n chips you normally get in a family owned takeaway shop. Proportion of food was great compared to cost! Got the seafood pack for one, $20 . Tables were clean and tidy, and service was both friendly and efficient! Would definitely be back 🙂

Reasonably priced, greet turn around time and friendly service. We ordered half a dozen fresh oysters (amazing), a fish and chip pack and also a calamari pack. Both enjoyable.

Too expensive for a basic fish & chip shop which doesn’t offer any real point of difference to justify the prices .$8.90 for a small chips which was just a handful buried under the rest of the meal

Very disappointing, went to get chips for dinner tonight, husband first words where ” are you still cooking? ” got a reply of yes . Placed order and payed no problems. 25 mins later still waiting and noticed the shop and kitchen being packed up around him. So he asked if everything was OK? Meanwhile the ” person in charge ” had seen him waiting the whole time asked kitchen what’s going on and and kitchen oh we haven’t made chips . It was to late at that stage. Do better! And plus food from there last time was very average!
