Went for first time and was not expecting much judging from the outside – but the server (I am guessing owner) was fabulous… the menu surprising… and best hamburgers ever… I would have expected that quality at an upmarket burger restaurant – as well as good fish and chips (I am English and hard to please). To top it off, because we had to wait a little longer, we are offered a big bottle of drink for free without even complaining in the first place. Excellent service, and food – will be going back.

Absolutely amazing fish and chip shop. The customer service was some of the best I have ever received. I was served by a lovely man named Mike who was extremely upbeat and friendly, and engaged in pleasant conversation with me. Food was fresh and delicious, I demolished the whole lot very quickly! First time I’ve tried this shop and could not be more impressed. Will definitely be going back, highly recommend!

New owners are awesome. Super friendly over the phone and in person. Food is good. Nice burgers. Decent scallops (a little thin, but good) chips are golden and obviously cooked in clean oil. Tasty fish bites too.

I left a review here last year when it was good. Went for lunch fish and chips and the place has lost its fantastic chips. They used to be soft, not soggy, and really tasty. Now they’re dry, crispy and salty. Fish was ok, but it’s now just like every other chip shop in Australia

Great chips, burgers and fish. Always clean. Never too crowded. sometimes they underestimate the time it takes for your order when you phone in, like saying it’ll be 20 minutes when it’s 30 minutes, but they always give you an extra scallop or 2!

Food, prices and customer service are great how ever expect long wait times. I’ve been there 3 times and all 3 times they’ve had longer longer as in a good 20-40 mins longer than what they say. They did compensate for the longer wait times with a free 1.25L drink. If they just fixed their POS system, had staff working together better and full knowledge of their POS system times would be much quicker. Lastly their sweet potato scallop is a waste of money as it’s mostly batter and a thin slice of potato off one of those food prep slicers. Was very disappointing with that as I was expecting a normal potato scallop.
