Social Profile:

The historic Mount Helena Tavern, was brought to life in 1902. The pub is placed in the heart of the hills, 33km from Perth CBD. Known locally as ‘The Mounties’ the tavern offers local and tourists a traditional Australian pub like feel. This combined with a country pub vibe that appeals to families offering a large beer garden to sit back and relax in, not to mention our playground and grassed area for the kids to play in, on those nice sunny days. At The Mounties we often have local horse riders, bike riders and car clubs come and visit. With this we also have a Lounge, Bar and Private Restaurant which is perfect for functions and birthdays. With a winter flowing creek and warm fires,

Late lunch as anticipated that this place is usually crowded on weekends. Beer garden and a play area outside for the kiddos. Dinning area sits number of tables that is away from the main hall with TV screen on sports entertainment.

Great location. Sat outside on a beautiful winter day and it was so peaceful as the water flowed past.

Awesome place for a lunching outing! Friendly service, kid friendly place and you don’t even have to wait very long for your food! I ordered the steak and it was beautifully cooked, my partner ordered the ribs and they were absolutely delicious and the meat was falling off the bone. 10/10 I would highly recommend this place

Waited for the bar staff to finish talking and doing her own drink and then walked away, so a younger girl came to serve and we asked that we booked she told us our table number so we had to find our table. Really.. The restaurant was lit up like a light house..

We went on a Sunday and although I booked a table, we were seated outside, or rather told to go and find our own table. It was very full so found a table which we had to clear ourselves as they were short staffed. Waited 45 minutes for our meal ( although to be fair when we ordered we were told there was a long wait). Food was ok, but not inexpensive as a Tavern would usually be. Service poor.
