Love this place. Best chips around. Best garlic pizzas. Best HSPs. The garlic sauce is special and I always get extra. Menu is massive and quality is always spot on. Been going for years and never had a bad meal. When they aren’t flat out, the owner is always up for a friendly chat. When they are flat out the quality never wavers. Do yourself a favour and get an Aussie Parma, wings, or chips cheese and gravy. Still gotta try the lamb shanks. I’ll be back soon.

Ordered food at 6pm. Kept getting pushed back. 2 hours later and it still hadn’t arrived. They take orders and just keep pushing them back until they close and then cancel them so they don’t actually have to do any work. And it leaves it too late for people to order from a real business not a scam place. Hard to imagine a little place like this could be so busy it takes over 2 hours on a Thursday night to make food.

Chips are tasty. However, when it’s busy it takes 25min for them to process and complete an order for medium chips. If you’re looking for a quick meal and it’s peak dinner time I would avoid Montrose Chicken.

this place has the best hsp and chips around but if you want to get dinner order well in advance. last 2 times ive ordered ive been told 15-20 minute wait on the phone for pick up those supposedly short waits turned into hour long waits for a single hsp. cant fault the quality of food or value but estimates on wait times are definitely not the best around 5.30-7.30pm(fair enough when its the best place around)

Never had the chance to eat here and I’m sure the food is good but TWICE now I’ve tried to order uber eats late at night (uber eats says it’s open 24 hours but I now see it says closes at 9pm online). Twice I’ve ordered food and the driver had been connected only for the driver to contact me and say they are there but the restaurant is closed?? This happened once before a year ago I took another chance thinking the problem would be solved but again the same thing. Wasting driver and my time had to request refund off Uber eats again as they took my money already and as the order never arrived because the place is CLOSED even though it’s open on Uber eats ready to make orders. Very annoying please fix this and stop wasting people’s time

Working in the food industry for years I have never had a supplier deliver chicken in various sizes from what I ordered, FYI if you can’t make your own chicken schnitzel or obtain pre crumbed chicken please buy your own and follow instructions. Step one buy chicken breast. 2. Flour 3. Egg 4.breadcrumbs. After that deep fry or pan fry add sauce, ham and cheese and put under salamander or oven. If you can’t make a parma take it off the menu and stop blaming your supplier.

Do not order for delivery from this restaurant for dinner if you want to eat within 1 hour and 30 minutes. Wait times are ridiculous, understand it’s a very busy take away shop but only the shop owner and one other person working so just purely greedy from the owner to not employ more people to work
