I dropped in the other day and bought some crumbed fish and chips for a late lunch. The service was friendly, and it was clean and neat. Have bought fish and chips there before, and it was great, but for some reason, today, the fish tasted stale, and also had a weird taste to it, as did the chips. Couldn’t eat it and threw it away. It was very disappointing because it wasn’t like that before. Could be an anomaly.

Bought a couple of hamburgers and chips … burgers thrown together, buns barely toasted, NO tomato, barely any lettuce and a few strips of onion that was inedible. on a positive note, there was plenty of beetroot. Chips not great. Don’t think we will be back.

To start with I cannot give a full spectrum of a review on this shop because all I ordered was chips and gravy. But from just that product the chips are overpriced and to be honest some of the most terrible chips I’ve tasted from a takeaway store being all yellow, dry and chewy. The gravy cost $4 and they would have just whipped up a Gravox powder to make it. I’ve read other reviews where the owner hits back at the reviewer saying that they can’t control the quality of a chip product they buy and sell onto a customer. How about you source a better bloody product then.. Good chips is probably the most important aspect of a takeaway store.

As of new management (by the looks of whole new staff) food had declined in state and taste. Calamari rings were cooking in the wrong batter. If you want a chicken stick, they don’t sell them anymore and instead the batter is on your calamri rings. Never mind being tiny and looking like onion rings, the flavour will make you think you’re eating burnt batter with some string.

I mean chips are ight could do some more chicken salt. To be honest the best chicken was the chicken salt , the chicken definitely made it feel like they harvested it from the park next door. Should’ve realised this as its in the name .wouldn’t rate it at all but couldn’t let some one else go through torture of eating pigeon like I did 0/10 wont be eating here agian . I just bought a hamburger with egg and cheese and 4 potato scallops. The hamburger was soggy and the worst was that as I got to the center the meat patty was raw inside. The scallops were over done and the potato was that thin it was just about non existent. It was also very oily and the oil tasted old. I feel sick now even though I didn’t eat much of it. A waste of $18. For garbage. I will not be going back again and not recommend it to anyone else.

Very polite and courteous staff. Chips were freshly cooked, and despite them being busy got my order in minutes. Best chicken and chips I’ve had in ages.
