Social Profile:
Dhaba is a roadside eatery in the Indian Subcontinent mostly found in highways. It is well said that The Dhaba moves wherever a Punjabi goes”. The first Punjabi Dhaba was presumably settled not long after the connecting of the urban communities of India by expressways (national, state and town streets). Dhaba’s were portrayed by mud structures and bunks to sit upon (charpai/moda) while eating. A wooden board would be put over the width of the bunk on which to place the dishes. With time, the beds were supplanted by tables. The food is normally economical and has a ‘homemade’ feel to it.
MITRAN DA DHABA is just not the name, it’s a real Dhaba experience.
Spacious & colourful roadside-style eatery, serving up a daily menu of traditional Punjabi fare.

Very convincing Dhaba set up in Sydney. The ambience was indeed resembling a Dhaba. The. Food was also very good and had a descent quantity. The service was very quick. We had visited on a friday evening and few of the dishes were finished. Parking is limited, but if you visit after 8pm, you can manage to get parking at the nearby shops.

Were craving something spicy and light. This place has been on our list for a while so thought of giving it a shot.

Our family was there on last month family dinner. We had bad dinner. We choose one of the chicken dishes and we try to choose with mild spicy. But we could not eat the dish especially for my daughter. We’d like to eat indian dishes and try indian restaurant several time and this one is too much spicy. After that we decided not to go there again.

I would go to this place for service and not looks of it! They ensure your order is quick and clear. They make sure they check if you are satisfied with the food? Not every place in the Sydney would even bother to come out of their kitchens.

Love this place. I go again and again. The vibe is not great and food is expensive but taste is consistent. Great catering option for party. I ordered food for 80 people . Menu changes daily

I often come here if I crave for some authentic punjabi food. All of my friends love the food and always feel nostalgic with that Dhaba feels. A must visit if you’re in Sydney.

Excellent food. I had ordered food for my son’s birthday party with the catering team. Right from the beginning, Mr Sharma was professional. I thought the cost will be very high when I actually started the conversation with him. But he quoted a reasonable rate for the menu requested. On the day of delivery, the food was ready on time. The taste was excellent. The quantity was also more that many of my friends took take away with them. Overall, it was an amazing experience and food was of top quality. I will go back to them again for any future catering requirement.
