Fantastic experience and such great service. A first time visitor and I’m already looking forward to returning. From the initial seating to the food selection and warm friendly service, this place is excellent. The bill was very reasonable and we left full. Recommended!

I was seriously impressed upon entry as the place was packed to the rafters and it’s quite a sizeable space. The tempura prawns, eggplant nigiri and agedashi prawn gyouza were simply sensational. Beautiful beautiful experience and food. The place has a very family owned feel because many of the staff have worked there for 10+ years and then owner has been the same from the beginning (about 30 years). It’s really impressive that the service and food quality have remained consistently high for so long. Went there a lot when I was younger and today went for the first time in 8 years. Fantastic food and service. Will be back!

Local favourite with inside and outside seating which is excellent on a sunny warm day. The food tasted fresh and I wouldn’t say your traditional Japanese flavour. The yakitori basted in bbq sauce which has this different sweetness to it. Katau Curry is hearthy and will fill you up. Sashimi Don is also not your typical flavours too with the incorporation of crispy noodle bits. Service is friendly but a little slow.
